In House Stay & Train
Our in-house training covers the puppy fundamentals, including crate training, toileting, basic commands, and leash walking. Extended stay and train is strictly limited to 2 pups per litter with a stay between 2-4 weeks. If you are interested in this program please let me know when confirming your pup to secure a spot. For those who miss out I can liaise with other local training organizations and arrange delivery.
Young pups are little sponges so they learn good and bad behaviours very quickly. This is why we start our pups young with foundation training and reward for positive behaviors. Using shaping techniques pups learn to sit and be calm and focus on the handler. We want to see our pups go from reactive states to thinking states, giving them a means to communicate with us - pups know if they want attention all paws must be on the ground and they need to be calm and quiet. Pups are introduced to crate training where the crate is a positive experience and are learning to settle on their own, and toileting outside or on potty mats,
Pups are set up with all the foundations in place to assist with a smooth transition into your home. Of course this does not mean your pup will not be work on your end, you are after all getting a baby, that has just left their home and everything they have ever known. It is critical that you follow through with training and routine provided especially in those first few days and weeks for a successful integration and to fast track to success with sleeping through the night and toileting outside.
Below is a snippet of a pup that has had just under 2 weeks in the program, he has learnt the fundamental lesson to be calm and focused.
He understands basic commands, is attentive and enjoying his training sessions, and happily sleeps in his crate overnight and toilets outside,
