Application Process
Step 2
Honeymoon news
Once we have an upcoming honeymoon planned, we will send out an announcement to those on our mailing list. This announcement will include the details of both the dam and sire, and the expected puppy types (colour/sizes/coat type etc), price for puppies from this litter and deposit amount required to secure a puppy.
Step 3
Submit application
If you are interested in applying for a puppy from this mating, send a return email with as much detail as possible describing your household dynamic, current fur family, tell me about the pup you are looking for, and what a typical weekday for your dog would look like. Dont forget to include your address and phone number.
Step 4
Pay deposit
If you are a successful applicant, you will be sent a purchasing agreement, and now is the time to pay your deposit to secure your puppy. Deposits are approx 20% of the purchase price, and come off the balance of the full purchase price of the puppy.
Step 5
Allocation time
Once the puppies are born, we spend a lot of time with them to assess litter dynamics, temperament, activity level, coat type and complete DNA testing. We use this information when making allocations. Allocations are generally done between 6-7 weeks, we will always work with you to make sure you get the perfect fit for your family.

Join our mailing list
When you join our mailing list, you are the first in the know of upcoming matings, and confirmed pregnancies. You can also keep abreast of what is going on at Lovelocks by following us on both our social media accounts, Facebook and Instagram.
Congratulations! You have made the decision to have an Australian Cobberdog puppy join your family.
Step 6
Full payment due
The cost of an Australian Cobberdog represents the quality of the dog and the optimal care taken to ensure your companion animal is of a very high standard in health and socialization. Full payment is due on or before pick up.
Step 7
Puppy pick-up
Pups are ready for their new homes from 9 weeks old. They will be available for pick-up in our home in Brisbane QLD. We can also assist with transport for interstate and international travel.
Step 8
Ongoing support
We want the best for our puppies and their new familes, and will always provide support and information to assist with settling your puppy into their new forever home. All puppies will go home with an information pack detailing their routine, diet, training, DNA and veterinary assessments.
